From UAT to Go-Live: Shaping a Purpose-Built Odoo Solution for a private Hospital in Bangna

Following the successful User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-user training, the Odoo system implementation is officially transitioning to Go-Live. 


Purchase Process Enhancements 
To streamline procurement and standardize documentation, V Group Consulting & Solutions team tailored the documentation to match the client internal standards. Additionally, we implemented a tiered approval workflow. This new setup supports multi-level approvals routed by department and organizational authority, ensuring greater governance, transparency, and control.


Product Management Customization 
Data integrity is a matter of regulatory compliance. Our team stepped in to enforce an Inventory Governance strategy across specialized pharmaceutical operations.

Asset Management Improvements
 

Our team also enhanced the Asset module by integrating QR Codes for every asset. Scanning a code provides immediate access to critical data, including Asset Location, Acquisition Date, and Depreciation Schedules.


System Integration 

To eliminate administrative overhead, we deployed an intelligent master data interface that directly syncs Odoo with the Hospital Information System (HIS). This automation removes the risk of double-entry errors, ensures absolute data consistency, and saves critical operational hours. This update simplifies asset identification, accelerate inventory verification, and streamlines ongoing maintenance





What is Next After Go-Live?
As we enter the next phase, our optimization roadmap focuses on turning system data into a competitive advantage

  • Configuring Record Rules to control user access based on roles and departments, ensuring employees can only view and manage the records relevant to their responsibilities

  • Automating and tracking medication routing across diverse clinical departments before reaching the patient.

  • Streamlining financial deposits to tighten overall cash flow governance.

  • Developing and customizing business reports to support daily operations and management decision-making, including purchasing and inventory reports such as Purchase History, Vendor Analysis, Purchase Summary, Back Order, Reorder Point, and Stock Card reports based on the customer's business requirements.
